Alan Wolk (Chairman) 

Recently named Chairman of the 2nd Screen Society, Alan Wolk has become one of the industry’s most influential thought leaders and futurists in the space.

He was recognized last year by Wired as one of the Top 20 Thinkers In Social TV and Second Screen. His blog, The Toad Stool, is widely read and has become a forum for discussion around the changes coming from Hollywood, Silicon Valley, Redmond, London, New York and beyond.

Wolk has written and spoken extensively about these upcoming changes and provides his insights on an exclusive basis for clients around the world via Toad Stool Consultants, where he provides bespoke consulting services for clients in the media and entertainment industries.

Wolk was also the founder and guiding force behind the Hive Awards for the Unsung Heroes of the Internet, a new award show that debuted at SXSW Interactive in March 2010.

A frequent contributor to Digiday, VideoNuze and other industry news sites, Wolk’s stature in the digital community has also gotten him named as an Advisory Board member for the Second Screen Society.

A member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, he has been interviewed and quoted by everyone from NPR to The Guardian to CBC National News to the New York Times and recently appeared on a segment of public television’s Brian Lehrer Show about the future of TV.

Chuck Parker (Chairman Emeritus)

Chuck is a hands-on, innovative industry leader who is currently pursuing his passion in the digital video space, focused on second screens.

Most recently, Chuck was the Chief Commercial Officer at Technicolor, where he previously held multiple senior roles including head of their international DVD division, CIO, and President of their digital division where he delivered the foundation products for what is now M-Go.

He holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame where he graduated with honors.

Guy Finley (Executive Director)

Started his career in the entertainment industry as a successful performer and producer, making music with industry giants such as Phil Ramone, Elliott Scheiner, and Dave Grusin.

In 2000, Guy joined the home entertainment industry as president of LFA, Inc., providing home video brand and business consulting services for a worldwide clientele.

In 2005 He joined the Content Delivery and Security Association (then IRMA, International Recording Media Association) as their Associate Executive Director.

In 2008 he founded the Media & Entertainment Services Alliance (MESA) and facilitates discussions about collaboration and innovation in the home entertainment industry along the physical and digital supply chain.
